Indiana Artisan Marketplace 2017-March 25th and 26th

SEVENTH ANNUAL INDIANA ARTISAN MARKETPLACE

Only once a year, the state’s highest-quality Artisans come together — at the Indiana Artisan Marketplace.  Talk with artisans at the top of their craft, recognized by the state for their exceptional art and food.  Taste their wines and foods, see what makes them the best, and take advantage of the opportunity to take home some of their outstanding work made in studios, workshops and kitchens here in the Hoosier State.

2017 MARKETPLACE

Dates: Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26, 2017
Times: Saturday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: The Exposition Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds
Tickets: $10 at the door, 14 and younger admitted free
Participating Artisans: Nearly 150 art, fine craft and food artisans are on-site so you can meet them and talk about their work. Of this group, 24 will be creating their work in their booths so you can see how it is made.
Parking: Four shuttles will run this continuous route all weekend.  Park anywhere on the Fairgrounds, take the FREE shuttle to the Expo Hall (#22 on the shuttle map), enjoy your day at the Marketplace, leave your purchases at “Package Pick Up” just inside the Marketplace front door, shuttle back to your vehicle, and drive to the Expo Hall where a volunteer will bring your purchases to your car before you depart.
Volunteer: Volunteers receive free parking, admission and a cool t-shirt for helping to make the experience incredible. Be a truly valuable part of our team. Volunteer here, and we’ll look forward to working with you at the Marketplace.
Action: Become a fan of Indiana Artisan on Facebook.

The Marketplace is a once-a-year opportunity to buy one-of-a-kind artwork and foods directly from the artisans who make it.

The work of more than 195 artisans in 57 Indiana counties has been juried and is part of the Indiana Artisan brand. An Indiana Artisan is a Hoosier recognized for careful attention to detail, knowledge of a craft and an entrepreneurial spirit. His or her talent contributes to Indiana’s reputation for quality work, and the Artisan brand includes glass, wood and leatherwork; oils, watercolors, acrylics, and colored pencil; wine, jewelry, weaving and fiber art, specialty cheeses, pottery, fudge, chocolates, popcorns, and more.
