Hot Blown Glass is mixing it up for the change in the seasons. It’s hot out there, but we are already looking to fall. That means make some flowers and make some pumpkins and gourds… all out of hot glass.
Make a day of it, as I will be hosting double the fun sessions!! Sign up for both sessions on these weekends!!

I also offer private lessons and I create classes on demand. Classes require sets of 2 people per workstation -maximum 4 people. 6- week sessions meet once a week for 3hrs per session. Contact me if you are interested in participating.

The Glass is Hot in June at Hot Blown Glass.
So, to honor your dad, for Father’s Day, come on out and make him “The World’s Greatest Dad†Glass Sculpture. It’s new! It’s fun! It’s interactive!
Also, on our June summertime hot glass schedule, will be traditional paperweights, pulled flowers and sculpted hearts. Take your pick or pick them all.
Saturday-June 8- 11 AM – 1 PM. Create your own “World’s Greatest Dad†Glass Sculpture. $65 per person. Solid-formed, bit worked, tapered-style sculpture.
Saturday-June 8- 2 PM – 4 PM. Stay traditional, use your dad’s favorite colors and include them in a solid-formed creation. Fix your dad up with the most incredible paperweight in his paperweight collection made by you. $40 per person.
Monday-June 10- 6 PM – 8 PM. Create your own “World’s Greatest Dad†Glass Sculpture. $65 per person. Solid-formed, bit worked, tapered-style sculpture.

The public is invited to try glass forming and make a hot-glass heart paperweight with Lisa Pelo of Hot Blown Glass, Ltd. in the Carmel Arts & Design District (2nd Avenue NW & W. Main Street) from 2 – 9 p.m. There is a $35 cost to participate in this activity and reservations are on the hour (walk-ups will be accommodated if space is available).

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb!
So, let’s welcome March in by taking on some hands-on sessions here at Hot Blown Glass.
Let’s start with tradition!
Creating paperweights are a great way to start your first experiences in working with hot glass or add more skills to the experiences you have already have.
Join me at Hot Blown Glass, 317-987-6862 – call or text me to enroll for any of these posted sessions.
March 4th – Monday – 6 PM to 8 PM-traditional solid-formed paperweight. $40 per person.
March 9th-Saturday-12 PM to 3 PM-hand-sculpted solid-formed heart paperweights.
(this is a fun session because the initial form is a traditional round paperweight, then you create a disc shaped paperweight, or you take it on to creating a sculpted heart paperweight… You choose one of these as your final form) $40 per person.
March 10-Sunday-1:30 PM to 3:30 PM-pulled solid-formed flowers. (create a single flower for $40 per person, or take on the challenge to create a Beautiful Bouquet of three glass flowers for $75 per person)
March 16-Saturday-12 PM to 3 PM-hand-sculpted solid-formed heart paperweights.

April 8-Monday-6 PM to 9 PM-egg-shaped paperweight or traditional shaped paperweight with “hot inclusions“.
